The Soldiers Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK) II consists of two separate pieces. The main pouch has MOLLE straps on the back and is designed to attach any M.O.L.L.E vest, belt, pack, or anything with MOLLE webbing on it, and the inner pouch, or insert, that actually holds all the medical gear, can be removed from the outer pouch from either side by pulling on one of the two tabs (on either side of the main pouch), and slipping it out of its case.
