Survivor Daily Rations (SDRs) are a complete day's worth of food for an adult in a single package, developed by the Defense Logistics Agency's (DLA) Troop Support for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). 

*Note - Case includes 10 packages with identical menus.

Some components of an SDR include:

  • Entrees: Beans and rice with tomato sauce, beans with potatoes, bean salad
  • Bakery: Fig bar, lemon poppy seed pound cake, oatmeal cookie
  • Fruits: Applesauce with maltodextrin, banana apple smoothie, dried cranberries
  • Desserts and snacks: Baked snack crackers, high protein chocolate bar, protein bar, peanuts
  • Spreads: Grape jelly, peanut butter, sunflower butter
  • Candy: Pan coated disks, milk chocolate, fruit flavored pan coated disks
  • Accessories: Black pepper, salt
  • Other: Spoon, towelette

Assault Pack w/Stiffener (Used Like New) -

Color: ACU Digital

This is the official "issue" assault pack that the Army distributes to deploying units, in addition to the MOLLE Rifleman Set and other items in the RFI ensemble.  Can be worn alone or attached to the MOLLE Rucksack. Consists of a large main pocket, zippered front cargo pocket, and a small utility pocket with Velcro® closure for smaller items.  Also has a slot for a radio antenna or hydration drink tube. This assault pack is approved for airborne operations.

  • Genuine RFI-Issue MOLLE Assault Pack, currently in use by hundreds of thousands of Soldiers worldwide. Has been issued to Conventional as well as Special Operations Forces.
  • Consists of a large main pocket, a zippered front cargo pocket and separate exterior hydration sleeve.
  • Shoulder straps have quick-disconnect buckles to allow the pack to be "ditched" rapidly in emergency situations
  • Jump-certified and approved for airborne operations

"This makes no sense. Military and Vets get one day per 365 with a discout, when this is military gear. Goverment, regional, local, and volunteer civilians have 365 out of 365 of discounts. This is an insult and shows a disparity that borders on disrespect. This is a hard no for me. Contrary to the image they try to project. Save this to prevent obvious disappearance of this review."

Pros and cons

"When I ordered the first time I never received my packages, somehow I got lost in shipping and I was never refunded. I ain't rich and I lost a little bit of money but I thought I would give it one more try, the second time I ordered I got my two backpacks they both were full of MREs. 10 MRE enough for one person in each package per day. I did in fact receive two different flavors a pack a pack b as far as the packs go inside one had a cereal bar the other one did not they had sunflower butter. I take one or two out with when I go kayaking. I have found out that you don't really need a heater to heat these up with, one of them I put on my dash in my truck. The other one I put on the back of my kayak strapped down. I will say the one that I had with me on my kayak did not get as warm as the one I had in the dash of my truck all day. Another Con on this I would say is yes the flavors were only two different types but I knew that when I ordered these. Overall I gave it four stars. Shipping came this time on time as it stated it would. My backpacks came with MREs inside of them. That being said my backpacks were in great shape and I used them for other things and I gave one to my daughter for her birthday just because. Along with a kayak. She can put fishing gear or anything else she wants in the one backpack any other one I got stored away just if I need it for anything. So that's the best I can give on a review yes I would recommend this product with the backpack to others but be advised the packs are only limited two different contents not a whole bunch of variety. But again it is for survival not anything special but flavorful and edible I will say."
