This is a genuine US military surplus 60mm / PA-124 ammunition can. These are rather large ammo cans, measuring approximately 19" x 12" x 6.25" on the outside and weighing 9 pounds. Commonly used to hold 840 rounds of 5.56, and various other goods, used so the stenciling may be of other types of ammo.
