The Close Combat Assault Ration (CCAR) is a self-contained individual military ration introduced by the United States Armed Forces in 2025 as a compact assault ration designed for short duration's of highly mobile, high intensity combat operations.

It replaces the First Strike Ration and is designed to have a 39% reduction in volume and a 17% reduction in weight, allowing soldiers to carry five days of food in the space previously occupied by three.

The contents of one CCAR provides 2800 kilo calories, enough food for an entire day in a mobile and combat intensive scenario. All components of it are eat on the move type foods that require little or no preparation, and at launch there are three different menu options.

"Used Good" New Improved Style Duffle Bag - 

Color: Olive Drab Green

Material-nylon duck, plain weave; color-dyed camouflage green 483; single item; non-sized; two heavy duty slide fasteners with locking sliders that meet in the middle of the bag opening; four compression straps, two side carrying handles, two top closing handles and shoulder straps with a buckle for adjustment; clear plastic pocket is attached to the top side of the bag to accommodate shipping documents; loop piece of fastener sewn inside the pocket for attaching a name-tape; bag can be securely locked by attaching a padlock through a retainer.
