Manufactured for the U.S. Fire Fighters Forestry Service by Tennier Industries, this mummy style sleeping bag was made to keep firefighters warm in a variety of temperatures during field operations. Tennier manufactured this sleeping bag is to military standards and you will see the quality.  The stitching is made to prevents the migration of the insulations keeping the bag free of cold spots. Designed with an adjustable hood, overstuffed foot box with twice the amount of insulation as the rest of the bag, along with a double pull slide zipper makes this full feature cold weather sleeping bag that will be perfect for your next adventure.     

Tanner industries, the maker of the military sleeping bag systems, rates bags in Clo or (clothing and thermal insulation). To explain this, a value of (1) is given to a person with clothing to be comfortable at rest in 70 degrees. These bags are made to have a Clo value of 4.5. suitable for cold weather use and we find it as heavy if not more then the military issue intermediate sleeping bag and estimate it to be about a 20-30 degree rating.
